The power of an electric powertrain

Taiga’s powertrain is purpose-built for water powersports and specifically designed to operate safely and reliably in all types of weather. Automotive-grade lithium-ion batteries, combined motor-inverter – the Taiga Tractive Unit, Taiga’s proprietary Thermal Management System and associated firmware all make for an efficient, effective powertrain that gives Orca a powerful push forward. Combining the motor and the inverter into a single element saves on space and reduces Orca’s weight for better performance on the water. What’s more, the powertrain’s advanced closed-loop design and direct-drive Tractive Unit employ fewer moving parts than a traditional gas-powered engine, so you need very little maintenance to keep your Taiga vehicle in optimal working order.
